Danish Cord Bench

I designed this bench with the phrase “subtle angles” in mind. Earlier on in my craftsmanship journey, my focus was on creating pieces boxy pieces to hone my basic woodworking abilities, making sure everything I built was perfectly square. This bench marked my venturing into subtly non-square territory, while also incorporating classic joinery techniques that I like.

Legs were built using Mahogany, and the curved rail underneath is Sucupira.
